Ryan's Hope in Action

Pre-Program

Stage 1: Adjustment

Stage 1: Adjustment

Participants will be vetted by the CEO via a video recorded interview. During this interview the participants will express why they should be part of this program.

The CEO will give his commitment to each participant to be supportive, respectful, and treat them with dignity on their journey at Ryan's Hope. The Assessment Committee will approve all incoming participants once vetted by CEO.

The participants will give their commitment to follow all rules of the program and facility.  They will sign a Participant Covenant. They will also receive Picture ID & Key Fob.

Stage 1: Adjustment

While working with their Adjustment Mentor, participants will get adjusted into the new environment. Each participant will have a customized program created for their specific needs; they will work with psychologists, psychiatrists, and counselors to address their current situations. The Adjustment Mentor will assist on how to best navigate their program.

Stage 2: Life

Stage 1: Adjustment

Stage 3: Job Support

While working with their Life Mentor, participants will learn to navigate finances, transportation, shopping, 401K, insurance, life boundaries, family & friend support and general life skills. This will be through verbal and digital communication.

Stage 4: Housing Support

Stage 3: Job Support

While working with their Job Mentor, participants will be given job training, skills and tools to build a resume, interview, get hired, and determine the specific area in which they wish to work. If the participant comes into the facility with a job they will be assessed before this stage – if determined, they can move to the Housing stage.

Stage 4: Housing Support

Stage 4: Housing Support

Stage 4: Housing Support

While working with their Housing Mentor, participants will be given skills and knowledge how to look for, how to apply for, how to maintain, their housing. This is the “Transition” part of the program. Participants will have their own apartment at our facility; once they have completed the program, an approved list of housing options, which has been vetted by Ryan's Hope will be available to all participants.

Post-Program

Stage 4: Housing Support

Stage 4: Housing Support

Participants will be able to come to support group meetings that will meet on a regular basis after they graduate from the program.  Our aim is to continue to support participants and to encourage them to come back as coaches, allowing them to give back to others.  Our post-program committee will be available for individuals who have completed the program to reach out to if needed. A member of the committee will reach out for the 3-month check-in, then CEO will reach out for the 6-month check-in.
